| Audio Art is the result of a creative business partnership between Brendon Darby and Julie Kay-Darby. Audio Art is a production company based on the synergy of Julie and Brendon's combined talents and creative output in the fields of paintings, still images, music and video.
"Listening to Paintings - Kakadu" combines paintings of Kakadu with original music based on the sounds, images and moods of this special part of the Australian Landscape. Audio Art produced exhibitions, a portfolio of prints with a CD of original music and a book of images with CD of the musical score. The Book and CD are currently out of print, but limited and open editon art prints and music cassettes are available here.
"Listening to Paintings -Australia" opened
at the Museum of Natural History in New York on Jan 16 2007 as
part of Australia Week celebrations. It then travelled to Houston
as part of "Celebration of Australia 2007".
