After the Sandbars: After crossing many sandbars, his hands were badly blistered.
This is represented in a dance by raised hands painted with white ochre.

Old Man Wiggan: Roy Wiggan's father, Old Man Wiggan', was hunting turtle for his family,
when he was hit by a storm and dragged out by the tide. He was lost for over 36 hours.
This is the third of five paintings which describe his struggle to survive and find his way home.

Please note: The craft Old Man Wiggan used was a catamaran (as in "Kooljamin Storm"),
not a single hulled vessel as depicted in these images.
