Exhibition Notes
Renowned WA artist/musician, Brendon Darby presents a new collection of
dramatic landscapes inspired by recent trips to Kakadu, the Kimberley,
the Pilbara and the South West of Western Australia.

Having recently completed a major commission for Hamersley Iron Ltd.,
Brendon will now continue with his project "Listening to Paintings - Australia".
It involves visiting 10 very diverse locations around Australia and
producing a major painting and a musical composition for each area.
A touring exhibition/concert planned for 2001 will also launch the
CD/book and video documentary of the project.

A sneak preview of the documentary demonstrating Brendon's skills as a
painter and musician will be shown for the first time at the opening of the exhibition.
